Technology and Teaching ELLs
Digital equity for ELLs is about more than just handing out devices. I teamed up with Plumeria Global Education Group to create this 4-page resource, which breaks down how to actually integrate technology into a language-rich curriculum without overwhelming the students (or the teachers).

Supporting Dually Identified Students (ESL/ESS)
I developed a 14-page proposal to improve outcomes for dually identified (ESL/ESS) students by breaking down departmental silos. The project focuses on equipping ESL teachers with collaborative frameworks to align language plans with IEP accommodations, ensuring federal compliance and integrated student support.

Implications for Language and Literacy Identity: Self-Reported Changes in Practice
In this 22-page case study, I sat down with three learners at a community literacy center to see how their language and literacy progress changed their sense of self. While everyone improved their skills, I found that a true shift in language or literacy identity only happened when the learner is personally invested or sees a cross-generational impact on their family. It’s a great reminder that while skill-building is universal, the personal transformation behind it is deeply individual.

Digital Literacy Project on Learner Web
Drawing on my background in technical communication and literacy advocacy, this project presents a Digital Literacy Implementation Guide for Community-Based Organizations (CBOs). Developed in collaboration with the Literacy, Language, and Technology Research (LLTR) group at Portland State University, the guide features three modules: infrastructure maintenance, human resource management, and learner support. A key component of this project involved modernizing the Tutor Training Guide by standardizing its branding and removing legacy grant references, transforming LLTR’s research-based insights into a universal, scalable resource for digital inclusion.
